Purpose of the role: To provide comprehensive administration support across the HR function, ensuring the provision of an excellent HR service to managers, employees and other internal/external stakeholders through the employee life cycle.
In this role you can expect to:
- Prioritise your workload effectively to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and use initiative and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Ensure accuracy of all administration duties as crucial to the integrity of our service to key stakeholders, and provide bespoke administrative support to the specialist functions.
- Maintain consistent HR electronic filing, ensuring accuracy of information in line with GDPR requirements.
- Support the training team with the booking and coordination of courses.
- Process transactional HR requests i.e. starters/leavers/contractual changes in line with agreed SLAs.
- Respond to queries relating to HR processes and practices and escalate when required.
- Support Line Managers with troubleshooting queries throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Process candidates and communicate with stakeholders through the Second Chance Initiative.
You should apply if you have:
- Advanced MS Office skills and experience of using multiple web-based applications.
- Strong oral communication, listening, and writing skills with the ability to present updates and contribute actively in team meetings.
- The ability to co-ordinate, plan and prioritise work in a rapidly changing environment whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
- The ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues and internal customers and the ability to recognise and handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Experience of managing stakeholders.
- Strong customer service approach/solution orientated.
- Worked in an HR environment or working towards HR qualification would be preferred.
