Overview

We understand that success is achieved through our people, and we are searching for a committed and passionate Duty Manager to join our growing business. As Duty Manager you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a 2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Have a clear focus on delivering great availability for your customers.
  • Play an active role in your store to \"sell a 1 & save a 1\" to help drive sales.
  • Deliver on all agreed actions set for you by your line manager.
  • Engage, develop & retain great people: Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store.
  • Support team engagement in your store.
  • Play a part in creating an inclusive culture where everyone can be their best.
  • Take a proactive approach to personal development and share your own knowledge to support up-skilling the team.
  • Doing the right processes and doing them right: Complete any actions set for you by your line manager on the back of the daily floor walk focusing on what the customer sees.
  • A positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep always aiming to be the best place to shop.
  • Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes.
  • Play your part in providing the best digital service through implementing all \"One Best Way\" processes.
  • Leadership: Your leadership approach should be at the heart of everything you do, to get the best from your team to give the best to our customers:

  • Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.
