As Duty Manager you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver great availability for customers.
  • Play an active role in store to "sell a £1 & save a £1" to drive sales.
  • Deliver on all actions set by line manager.
  • Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep.
  • Support team engagement in store.
  • Help create an inclusive culture.
  • Take proactive approach to personal development and up-skill the team.
  • Complete actions set by line manager after daily floor walk focusing on customer experience.
  • Maintain a positive approach to service, both in store and at doorstep.
  • Follow and implement cash handling and security policies.
  • Provide best digital service through implementing all "One Best Way" processes.
  • Love customers by being approachable.
  • Look after staff by being respectful.
  • Work together enthusiastically.
  • Hate waste by taking action.
  • Care about business and people by being considerate.
  • Communicate effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
  • Plan and organise shift using every team member.
  • Provide balanced feedback to improve performance.
  • Set the pace of team during shift, hands-on to deliver a great store.

Qualifications: Experience in a retail management or supervisory role (ideal but not essential).
