PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Salesforce Service Cloud Developer, you will work as part of our dedicated product focused Service Cloud squad to help design and deliver solutions to give the best experience to our customers. We operate a challenging Salesforce instance, supporting a busy multi-channel contact centre and providing support tools and services to our transaction websites. You would join us at an exciting time during an exciting programme of change and re-platforming legacy systems into the Salesforce eco system.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Implement new features using the right tool and technology for the job.
- Work with Business Analysts to design and implement solutions.
- Research new technologies and provide suggestions to service technical debt and add functional improvement.
- Serve as a technical expert for Service Cloud development.
KEY SKILLS
- Proficiency with Salesforce Platform development skills, especially strong Apex skills.
- Salesforce APIs: Familiarity with REST, SOAP, and other APIs for system integrations.
- SOQL and SOSL: Mastery of Salesforce query languages for database interactions.
- Declarative Tools: Proficiency with Salesforce's click-based tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
- Apex Programming: Strong understanding of Salesforce’s programming language for back-end development.
You should apply if you:
- Are comfortable designing and consuming services and APIs.
- Have Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification or equivalent skill level.
- Experience with SFDX and Salesforce CI advantageous.
- Experience with Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud advantageous.
