Vacancy - Designer Purpose of role We have an exciting opportunity for a Designer to join our Design Studio Team.
You will be delivering high-quality, on brand content across digital channels to inspire customers to shop with Iceland. co. uk.

You’ll be joining a unique Design, Creative and Photography team where we operate as a design agency, advertising agency and production company in one.
We strategise, concept, develop and deliver all digital and printed communications across all channels.
Our team of 40 is comprised of talented individuals across multiple disciplines including – graphic design, digital design, packaging design, artwork, photography, art direction, food styling, filming, editing, animation and project management.
What you’ll be doing Design and artwork consistent and accurate assets across the Iceland website, Amazon storefront and digital marketing channels, such as paid social and affiliates, driving customer engagement and sales.
Create and evolve seasonal campaign identities that feel current, aspirational and on brand to support with key trading periods.
Adhere to and contribute to evolution of brand guidelines.
Liaise with internal clients and deliver assets within deadlines agreed.
Asset creation through a content management system.
Analyse key competitors and conduct research to stay informed and identify opportunities.
What we’re looking for Mac literate with excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of animation is preferred but not essential.
Proven understanding of typography, layout and grid structures.
Strong understanding of communication hierarchy.
Knowledge of graphic trends and social media.
High level of attention to detail.
Well organised and able to prioritise and effectively manage multiple projects.
Ability to view work from the customers point of view.
Agile and responsive to trading requirements in a commercially focused fast paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team and wider team.
