Job Title: Graduate Buyer

Overall, Purpose:

The Iceland Buying Graduate scheme will put you at the heart of the Iceland Foods business. You will be responsible for developing and delivering commercial plans across a two-year period in our Frozen, Grocery and Chilled departments.

With guidance from Senior Buyers, you will be given commercial responsibility where you can make a real impact to the range and proposition which we offer to our customers.

You will work closely with suppliers, and other internal departments to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product range to our customers.

This programme will deliver a hands-on experience to the successful candidate, giving you all the skills you need and kickstart your Retail Buying career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales growth
  • You will be responsible for a multimillion-pound category within the Iceland business, under guidance from a Senior Buyer. You will improve commercial performance through supplier negotiations, forecasting and delivery within the Iceland Buying framework for Iceland, Food Warehouse and Iceland.co.uk.
  • You will have full P&L responsibility throughout the programme and the opportunity to make a real difference!
