The opportunity: We're looking for a Management Accountant to provide clear, commercially focused financial insight to our Supply Chain & Logistics teams. You'll bring the story behind the numbers to life, helping operational colleagues understand performance, control costs and identify opportunities to work more efficiently.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics and Head Office functions, translating complex financial information into clear and actionable insights.
- Preparation of periodic management accounts with variance analysis for review by Senior Finance Manager and operational teams.
- Prepare and maintain accurate departmental balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust financial control and governance.
- Partner with operational teams and 3PL providers to understand cost drivers, challenge performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
- Preparation and consolidation of robust half-yearly forecasting and budgets.
