We are currently seeking a Brand Licensing Manager to join our Licensing & Innovation team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the long-term growth of Iceland by overseeing a comprehensive licensing program that aligns with our business objectives, nurtures strategic partnerships, and adapts to industry trends to boost sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing Exclusive Brands and spearheading successful branded product launches both within Iceland and externally to support the growth of a £500m business over 3 years.
- Managing Iceland's entire licensing portfolio, evaluating existing licenses, renewals, and terminations to drive sales growth within Iceland and facilitate wholesale and international expansion, contributing to the broader group's EBITDA growth.
- Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with licensees and market brands that resonate with the company's brand and goals.
- Overseeing the successful introduction of new exclusive brands in collaboration with Iceland's Head Development Chef and Exclusive Brands Manager to create a 12-18 month product pipeline for each exclusive brand.
- Participating in negotiations with potential licensees to secure advantageous deals and structuring agreements beneficial to the WDFF group.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive licensing strategy in line with the company's business objectives.
- Providing training and guidance to internal teams on licensing policies and procedures.
- Contributing strategically to the trading director's plan for the overall benefit of the business.
- Weekly reporting of accurate sales and profitability data to the relevant trading director.
- Taking full responsibility for organizing and executing Range Review actions, including proposing strategic brand proposals.
- Ensuring the translation of range plans and actions into merchandising planograms, adhering to the ruleset defined by the Trading Directors for all store sizes and fixture configurations.
- Collaborating with marketing teams to ensure Exclusive Brands receive proper visibility and make a significant impact.
- Representing the company at industry events related to licensing.
