Purpose of the role
To manage mechanical, electrical and building fabric repairs for designated portfolio to agreed service levels and budget. To ensure equipment is fit for purpose and optimised for store operation. To deliver full statutory compliance of all services, legislation and health & safety through 3rd party contractors and own team. To ensure business needs are taken into account and delivered within compliance framework.
In this role you can expect to:
- Ensure all building and mechanical equipment is optimised for operation.
- Keep current and future asset register to highlight capital replacement opportunities.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and period end reports for all managed services.
- Ensure all statutory and health & safety compliance is met in full.
- Provide strategic management to develop team, self and systems.
- Fully deliver to agreed service levels through management of contractors and suppliers
- Effective contract management of all building services.
- Ensure equipment and buildings are optimised for retail operation.
- Provide effective management to ensure full delivery of business needs and operational expenditure
You should apply if you:
- Educated to HND level or above in engineering or building services discipline
- 5 years + specific building services experience within multi-site organisations.
- Knowledge of the design and build principles of building services within a retail environment.
- Practical industry knowledge essential.
- Full driving licence and ability to work throughout the UK
