Wayve is looking for a Staff / Senior Product Manager to own and drive the AI Portal Platform for our customers. This is a cloud SaaS B2B platform at the intersection of autonomous vehicle technology and enterprise software, enabling automakers — such as Nissan — to be fully in the loop on their AI driver deployments. This role is focused on cloud platforms, AI infrastructure, SaaS workflows, and data systems — not embedded vehicle software development.
AI Portal is Wayve's customer-facing cloud SaaS B2B platform with multi-tenancy and role-based access. It is designed for Wayve's customers and partners, as well as serving as an internal platform where Wayve leadership and product management can understand the AI driver's deployment status, performance, and market readiness.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the external AI Portal platform.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and prioritise features based on feedback, customer value, and business impact.
- Lead product discovery, backlog refinement, and quarterly planning activities across cross-functional teams.
- Keep customers and internal stakeholders aligned through clear roadmap communication, delivery updates, and strategic planning discussions.
- Influence internal product roadmaps to ensure alignment with external customer requirements, operational priorities, and long‑term platform goals.
- Partner closely with engineering teams and delivery managers to clearly communicate product objectives, priorities, timelines, and rationale.
- Translate customer feedback and business requirements into clearly defined product requirements, epics, and user stories that enable efficient engineering delivery.
- Establish and track product success metrics, including customer adoption, usability, operational efficiency, and partner satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, and customer experience as the product evolves beyond MVP.
- Partner with leadership, commercial, and engineering teams to balance customer priorities, technical constraints, and business impact.
- Evaluate product trade‑offs and make prioritisation decisions that maximise customer value and support long‑term platform growth.
- Support customer engagement activities, including roadmap reviews, product demonstrations, and strategic planning discussions.
Key Focus Areas (First 6–12 Months)
- AI Driver Issues Triage Capabilities: design AI Portal capabilities that help customers identify whether vehicle behaviour is caused by the AI Driver or another supplier system, while enabling secure data submission and advanced playback tools for efficient issue triage and root‑cause analysis.
- Deployment Visibility: build a virtual cockpit for customers, to understand the AI Driver deployment status, release history, issues SLAs, data and performance analytics.
- Route Planning: deliver a product feature to enable customers to create routes, to collect data or test AI Driver on road.
Who You Are
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven product management experience, ideally in enterprise, B2B, or platform products.
- Strong discovery skills: ability to define products from first principles, ask the right questions, understand user needs, and map user journeys.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, data, and customer‑facing teams.
- Ability to align roadmaps across product areas and manage stakeholders in complex organisations.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Background in automotive, mobility, or autonomous systems.
- Prototype mindset: ability to create quick prototypes to validate ideas early.
- Experience with OEMs or enterprise customer workflows.
