ICEE Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Nationwide Field Electrician (Contractor) to support the delivery of electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance works across a range of projects throughout the UK. Working across sectors including EV infrastructure, commercial installations, and critical infrastructure environments, this role plays a key part in ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations in line with current regulations and project specifications.
- Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems, including certification and reporting.
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works efficiently on-site.
- Complete periodic inspections (EICR) across a variety of environments.
- Ensure all works comply with the latest BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including test results and job reports.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification.
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide, as well as frequent nights away.
- ECS Gold Card (preferred).
