You do not need previous EV industry experience, as our team will provide training, support and guidance to help you settle into the role. Our EV division has grown quickly, with revenue up 124% so far this year, so we are looking for someone who is keen to learn, get involved and grow with us.

You will be supporting the team with the day-to-day administration behind electric vehicle charging projects. This will include helping with customer enquiries, booking installations, updating records, preparing paperwork and supporting the wider team from initial booking through to installation and completion.

About the Role

As a Business Administrator within our EV division, you will help keep projects organised and moving in the right direction. You will work closely with customers, engineers, suppliers and internal teams, helping to make sure information is recorded accurately and jobs are properly supported from start to finish. The role is varied and would suit someone who enjoys staying organised, speaking with people and learning how a growing business works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the EV team with day-to-day administration.
  • Helping with customer enquiries, bookings and follow-up communication.
  • Updating customer details, project records and internal systems.
  • Assisting with installation scheduling and engineer coordination.
  • Preparing and organising project paperwork.
  • Supporting compliance, handover and completion processes.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, engineers and internal departments.
  • Helping the team keep projects running smoothly.
  • Providing general administrative support to the EV management team.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone friendly, reliable and willing to learn. You will not be expected to know everything from day one, but you should be comfortable asking questions, getting involved and taking pride in doing things properly. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good organisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A friendly and professional approach.
  • Confidence speaking with customers and colleagues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use internal systems.
  • The ability to manage different tasks in a busy working environment.
  • Previous administration or customer service experience would be helpful, but it is not essential.

Why join us?

This is a fantastic opportunity to start or develop your career in business administration while gaining experience in the growing EV charging sector. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who will help you learn the role, understand the industry and build your confidence within a real business environment.
