Due to expansion, we are looking for Electrical and Gas Engineers at Island Catering Equipment (ICEC). We buy/sell Commercial Catering Equipment and offer a competitive repair/breakdown service to the commercial catering world. We provide site surveys to assist in the smooth running of any project and take pride in our quality installation and maintenance services.
Due to the expansion of our business, we are seeking more experienced Electrician/Gas Engineers to join our team.
Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical/Gas Engineer at ICEC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Gas/Electrical tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a range of electrical/gas tasks including reports, installation work, fault finding, and certification of completed works (Gas Certification).
- Working independently as well as part of a team.
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- The Gas Engineer must be fully certified to carry out Maintenance, Repairs and Servicing including undertaking Gas tightness testing.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (preferred).
- 18th Edition, 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing.
- ACS Commercial Gas Ticket, COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety.
- Knowledge of materials and methods used in the electrical/gas industry.
- Full, valid driving license.
- Competitive salary according to experience and qualifications.
- 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
- 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.
- Pension scheme.
- Company Van.
