Due to expansion, we are looking for a Trainee/Assistant Engineer who would like to train in the Commercial Catering Equipment World. You will be assisting our Fully Qualified Electrical & Gas Engineers in our Unit based over in Freshwater. At Island Catering Equipment (ICEC), we not only buy/sell Commercial Catering Equipment but also offer a very competitive repair/breakdown service to the commercial catering world. We offer site surveys to assist in the smooth running of any project and take pride in our quality installation and maintenance services.
Due to the expansion of our business, we are now seeking a trainee to assist our Qualified Engineers with the hope that you will also train to the level of our most experienced Engineers further down the line after training.
Role and Responsibilities:- Assisting all Engineers in their daily jobs in the unit.
- Will be mentored/taught by only qualified Engineers at ICEC.
- In time learn to assist the engineers under strict guidance of carrying out Maintenance, Repairs and Servicing building yourself up to complete levels in Electrical & hopefully Gas.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing
- ACS Commercial Gas Ticket COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety
- Knowledge of materials and methods used in the electrical/gas industry.
