Icebrg is a London-based wealthtech startup building a cloud-native, API-driven Platform as a Service (PaaS) for investment managers, wealth advisors, and multi-family offices. Our comprehensive solution streamlines custody, trading, portfolio management, reporting, compliance, and client operations, with seamless integrations to leading providers such as Saxo Bank, Addepar, market data services, and KYC/AML vendors. We empower B2B clients to enhance operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver superior digital experiences to their end clients.
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to elevate the visual and interactive quality of our B2B wealthtech web application. You will take ownership of the product's design language, creating intuitive, professional, and trustworthy interfaces for complex financial workflows. This is a key role in shaping the user experience of a functionally mature platform, ensuring it meets the high standards expected by sophisticated investment professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end UI/UX design for our multi-module platform, covering portfolio analytics, trading interfaces, order management, reporting dashboards, CRM, compliance tools, client onboarding, and operations workflows.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system in Figma, including typography, colour palettes, spacing systems, icons, and reusable components that align with modern financial application standards.
- Design data-dense, professional interfaces that prioritise clarity, efficiency, and precision for expert users who manage high volumes of financial information.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs for key features such as dashboards, complex data tables, multi-step forms, charts, document management, and trading blotters.
- Ensure responsive design across desktop and tablet experiences, with strong attention to accessibility and usability best practices.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers (working in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and component libraries) to hand off production-ready designs and iterate based on technical constraints and user feedback.
- Contribute to UX research, user testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to refine workflows and enhance overall user satisfaction.
- Establish and evolve a visual identity that conveys trust, sophistication, and reliability in the wealth management space.
Your Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer working on complex B2B SaaS applications, ideally in fintech, wealthtech, trading platforms, or data-heavy enterprise tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating elegant, professional designs for dense, information-rich interfaces (not just consumer-facing or marketing pages).
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced use of auto-layout, variables, component variants, and design system management.
- Solid understanding of modern frontend technologies and design handoff processes; familiarity with Tailwind CSS, utility-first styling, React component patterns, or shadcn/ui is a strong advantage.
- Experience designing for financial or regulated environments, with knowledge of data visualisation, complex forms, dashboards, and professional workflows.
- Proven ability to work embedded with engineering teams, translating designs into high-fidelity implementations with minimal friction.
- Systems-thinking mindset: you design scalable components, tokens, and patterns rather than one-off screens.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with stakeholders and developers.
- Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field preferred; fintech domain knowledge is a plus.
What we offer
- Competitive salary + performance-based equity options allocation.
- Flexible hybrid or remote work (London-based with remote options).
- Opportunity to define the visual and experiential standard for a next-generation wealthtech platform.
- Professional development budget.
- Relocation/UK visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
