As a member of the Media Logistics team within Content Services, you’ll help manage the team whose primary function is to meet all production and delivery requirements across all channels on all platforms. Working as part of a management team, the performance and success of all disciplines across Content Services workflows will be key alongside developing a productive team environment ensuring a professional, consistent, friendly and solutions focused customer service is delivered.

What you’ll do:

  • Delivering constant evaluation of the client requirements and expectations, delivering where appropriate, being accountable for the quality of service from your team.
  • Responsible for daily BAU delivery of a team within Content Services and first-class stakeholder management.
  • To deliver the consistent staff training and development throughout your team, required to enable Content Services to deliver successfully across the range of supported services, documenting plans and initiatives and the ongoing results, making changes where appropriate.
  • Leading your team by example, consistent in your actions and embodying the Sky Values and Comcast Code of Conduct, including process of payment using the Ariba payment system, including recharging and invoicing.
  • To monitor, record and where required create comprehensive reports on workloads and anticipated project workloads providing transparency of costs to senior management team.
  • To support Content Services representation in technology delivery, maintaining best practices and delivering seamless transition through forward planning and training and to aid the senior managers of Content Services to forecast and set yearly operational and budgetary requirements for the department and ensure effective utilisation of available resources within budget provision.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong and solid previous experience of first-class management and leadership within your current team/teams, with examples of encouragement, training and development within your team.
  • Demonstration of prioritisation skills, excellent people skills, communication skills, and coaching your current team.
  • Where appropriate you should be able to demonstrate where your own ideas and initiatives have delivered a more efficient operation or working environment for your team.
  • An awareness of how to ensure teams are run in an efficient manner, setting and reporting regularly on team performance and efficiency goals.
  • Experience for department reporting across efficiency and performance KPI’s.

As part of CT&I’s Group Content Services, we are seeking a passionate leader as Manager of Content Services. This is a crucial role proactively leading a team of staff within the Media Logistics department, applying strong leadership and management skills whilst working closely with the senior managers, Group head of and Director of Content Services to deliver a first-class service to all our clients, helping shape and bring the Content Services’ vision to life.

Your office space:

Osterley Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers. On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Shift pattern:

5 days a week in office hours plus rostered on-call availability based on 5-week rotation:

  • Week 1 - Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30
  • Week 2 - Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30 - Weekend on Call
  • Week 3 - Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30
  • Week 4 - Mon- Fri 07:00 -15:30
  • Week 5 - Mon- Fri 11:30-20:00

Expectation to being on-call out of hours when required.
