About the Role

We’re representing a rapidly scaling technology provider operating at the intersection of connectivity, networking, and cybersecurity. They partner with commercial landlords and their tenants to deliver fully managed technology solutions across connected buildings and modern workspaces. Following recent team changes, they’re now seeking a Player-Manager to lead their Tenant Engagement Team – a high-visibility function responsible for supporting new tenants moving into connected buildings, managing technology requirements and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities across networking and security services.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and mentor a small team of two, ensuring consistent sales performance and professional development.
  • Act as a hands-on individual contributor (“player”) with your own building portfolio and revenue targets.
  • Build strong relationships with building managers, letting agents, and incoming tenants to identify new opportunities.

What I’m Looking For

  • Proven experience in networking, connectivity, or managed services – ideally within the connected building, serviced office, or MSP environment.
  • Strong relationship-builder
  • Comfortable balancing team leadership with personal sales performance.
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially driven – able to set clear processes and drive consistency.
  • Some team-management experience preferred (formal or informal), though not essential if you can demonstrate natural leadership.

The Package

  • ÂŁ65,000–£75,000 base (flexible for the right candidate) + commission.
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 remote.
  • Two-stage interview process including a short presentation on your approach to leading and growing the team.
  • Direct visibility to senior leadership, including the CEO.
