I’m supporting a large, complex financial enterprise environment that is scaling its Data Services capability and is now looking to hire an experienced Lead Solution Architect to drive enterprise-wide data, analytics, and AI initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll own solution design end-to-end while leading a team of architects and engineers.

You’ll sit within a data function delivering large-scale platforms and services that underpin analytics, AI, reporting and digital journeys. The role spans modern cloud architectures, real-time data and AI-driven insights, with ownership across design, delivery and technical direction. You’ll lead a team of 4 direct reports, set architectural standards and work closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into scalable, secure solutions.

  • Cloud analytics platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Databricks, SageMaker, BI tooling
  • AI/ML platforms in production environments
  • GenAI exposure or roadmap involvement is a strong plus

What They’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Lead / Senior Solution Architect
  • Demonstrable people leadership experience (this is essential)
  • Experience designing and owning solutions in large, regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic architecture with hands-on delivery

Important: candidates with strong technical skills but no prior team leadership experience will not be suitable for this role.

Salary & Location: Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
