The Company
I am representing a leading global technology-driven firm operating at the intersection of finance and emerging digital markets. With over a decade of experience supporting institutional clients, the business is known for its technical excellence, strong security posture, and collaborative culture. As a lean, high-performing organisation, technology plays a critical role in everything they do, from supporting front-office teams to maintaining secure, compliant, and scalable internal systems.
The Role
They are searching for an IT Engineer to join the Enterprise Technology team. This is a hands-on, hybrid engineering and support role suited to someone who enjoys both project work and day-to-day operational responsibility. You will work closely with Trading, Engineering, and Operations teams, owning initiatives across identity and access management, SaaS tooling, and device management, while also ensuring a high standard of end-user support. Experience in finance or crypto is NOT required. What matters most is technical capability, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Google Workspace, Okta, and other SaaS platforms
- Troubleshoot MDM configurations and device management issues
- Provide deskside and remote user support, including peripherals, printers, and connectivity
- Manage the full IT hardware lifecycle (procurement, inventory, provisioning, and decommissioning)
- Resolve issues involving multiple system dependencies
- Design preventative solutions that improve reliability without introducing risk
- Assess and account for security implications across all technical decisions
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement tooling to reduce manual workload
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience supporting technical or fast-paced business environments
- Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and general network troubleshooting
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation
- Experience supporting teams handling sensitive or confidential data
- Exposure to compliance and security frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
Nice to Have
- Strong IAM knowledge (SAML, SCIM, OIDC)
- Experience supporting developer tooling and environments
- Advanced macOS and/or Linux troubleshooting
- Familiarity with infrastructure/configuration managed in Git (e.g. Terraform)
- Deep expertise with MDM platforms, device enrollment, configuration profiles, and security policies
What’s On Offer
- A collaborative, high-impact environment where your work is visible and valued
- Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives
- Ongoing learning and development support, including certifications
- Exposure to a global organisation with teams across multiple international locations
