Are you an identity security leader ready to shape strategy at an enterprise level and operate at the heart of a CISO organisation?
My client is a leading global financial services organisation looking for a Director of Identity Trust to define and lead its enterprise-wide identity strategy.
Reporting to the CISO, this is a senior leadership appointment with influence beyond a traditional IAM function. The organisation is building a security model around specialist-led value streams, with Directors leading pools of experts, setting direction and driving delivery. It offers the opportunity to operate as a key deputy to the CISO, with genuine ownership of strategy, people and investment.
The role will involve:
- Defining identity strategy across workforce, customer, machine and AI-agent identities.
- Leading specialist teams across identity architecture, governance and access security.
- Strengthening identity threat detection and response in partnership with Cyber Defence.
- Driving enterprise-wide transformation, investment and operational resilience.
- Influencing senior stakeholders and shaping the future direction of cyber security.
They’re looking for someone with:
- Proven leadership in enterprise IAM, Identity Security or Digital Trust.
- Strong technical understanding of modern identity architecture and security.
- Experience leading specialist teams, setting strategy and delivering complex transformation.
- Awareness of identity threat detection, non-human identities and emerging AI-agent security challenges.
This is an opportunity to lead a critical security value stream, build and develop expert teams, and help shape the wider cyber security agenda—not simply maintain an established IAM function.
The package is competitive, with flexibility on compensation and hybrid working for the right candidate.
If you’re ready for a broader leadership role with direct CISO exposure and enterprise-wide influence, I’d welcome a confidential conversation.
