I’m partnered with a well-established connectivity and cybersecurity provider with a strong reputation across the UK market. After 12 successful years, their Sales Manager has moved on to a new challenge. He joined as a graduate and worked his way up, which speaks volumes about the culture and opportunity within the business. Now they’re looking for the right leader to take the team into its next phase.
The Role
This is a hands-on coaching and leadership position managing:
- 5 Account Executives
- 3 SDRs
The team is capable. What they need is structure, rhythm, and consistent leadership. This is not a step-up role for someone who “fancies” management. You must have already managed and developed a junior sales team.
What They’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience managing and coaching sales teams
- Background within an MSSP, MSP or reseller environment
- Strong Microsoft security sales experience
Highly desirable:
- Exposure to AI-led security offerings
- Experience scaling teams or introducing cadence and process
The hiring manager wants someone who can:
- Implement clear sales cadence and accountability
- Develop junior talent
- Drive performance through structured coaching
- Create consistency across pipeline generation and forecasting
Why Join?
- Established brand with strong market credibility
- Significant marketing budget
- External sales trainer already engaged
- AI-driven offerings being introduced into the portfolio
- Clear progression and long-term opportunity
- This is a business investing in growth, not firefighting decline.
If you’re a proven sales leader within the Microsoft security / MSSP ecosystem and want to shape a team properly, this is worth a conversation. Happy to share more detail confidentially.
