Following an unprecedented success on its original market—France—Iceberg Data Lab is expanding overseas, and now looking for new hires in London! We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional looking to kick-start a career in ESG-focused sales within the financial sector.
You’ll be on the frontline of our business development efforts—connecting with ESG teams at major financial institutions across the UK, Japan, and North America. You’ll learn how to build meaningful relationships, communicate complex solutions, and represent Iceberg’s mission with energy and clarity.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect & Engage: Identify and reach out to potential clients, focusing on ESG teams within financial institutions.
- Lead Qualification: Initiate and nurture conversations to understand client needs and assess their fit with Iceberg’s solutions.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct first-level demos of our suite of environmental impact tools.
- Sales Enablement: Support the broader sales team with research, meeting preparation, production of marketing materials, and CRM updates.
- Business Travel: Participate in client meetings, sustainable finance events, and occasional international travel, including to key target regions.
- Sales Academy Onboarding: Start your journey with a hands-on onboarding experience in our Paris office—training alongside our senior sales team and learning the core principles of ESG sales excellence.
Preferred experience
- Recent graduate or 1–2 years of experience in sales, finance, or green/ESG tech.
- A strong interest in sustainability, ESG, or financial services.
- Fluent in English; other languages (Japanese, German or a Scandinavian language) are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone and in meetings.
- Ambitious, curious, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to travel and meet clients face-to-face.
- Based (or willing to be based) in London after the Paris onboarding.
