I’m currently representing a financial institution who are looking to bridge the gap between cybersecurity and data to fight financial crime and fraud. They are looking for data engineers with strong experience in engineering and integration databases and generating insights to fight financial crimes.

What I\’m Looking For:

  • Experience in financial services (cyber fraud, financial crime, or security).
  • Knowledge of fraud and security signals (digital identity, biometrics, behavioral profiling).
  • Understanding of malicious attack vectors (device spoofing, location manipulation, account takeover, identity fraud).
  • Proficiency in development and analytical tools (Python, PHP, JavaScript, SQL databases, Hadoop, SAS).
  • Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, cyber-attack phases).
  • Experience with data analytics platforms (SQL, SAS, Quantexa, Elastic Search, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong technical background in computing, cybersecurity, and networks.
  • Security Awareness – understanding of cyber threats, risks, and fraud trends (training provided)

  • Locations: Northampton or Greater Manchester
  • Hybrid: 3 days on-site 2 days WFH
