We’re looking for an experienced professional to step into a hands-on, technically demanding role that builds out my client's first dedicated cybersecurity function. With this position, you’ll be critical in shaping and evolving cybersecurity practices, moving from high-impact operational tasks to strategic oversight.

Role Highlights:

  • Location: Mayfair, London (5 days onsite). Salary and total comp will beat expectations. Please ask me for more details.

An initial focus on hands-on operational work (approximately 70%) will shift over time as you introduce automation, bringing the operational focus to around 25% in two years.
  • Leadership in Cybersecurity Strategy: Lead monthly Cybersecurity Working Group meetings, collaborating with senior executives across compliance, legal, and IT. Establish efficient patching protocols, engage in risk management, and support the adoption of best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly report to and interact with C-suite executives, including the CEO and founder, ensuring transparency and collaboration on cybersecurity initiatives.
