Description
We’re looking for a hands-on PAT Engineer to join our field-based team, carrying out PA testing, preventative maintenance and minor repairs on industrial cleaning equipment at customer sites.
This is a varied role that combines technical expertise with customer service.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and operating effectively, while building strong relationships with customers and representing the business professionally on-site.

This is a field-based role on customer sites across the UK focusing on the London area. This means your home location can also be anywhere in the UK.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out PA testing and planned preventative maintenance on industrial cleaning equipment.
- Completing minor repairs and basic fault-finding on electrical and mechanical components.
- Ensuring equipment meets compliance and safety standards.
- Clearly identifying and isolating any equipment that fails testing.
- Updating service records and test results accurately using our service management system.
- Communicating with customers about completed work, findings, and recommendations.
- Planning your daily workload to ensure all scheduled visits are completed efficiently.
- Working closely with Scheduling and Engineering teams to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintaining van stock and ensuring your company vehicle remains safe and roadworthy.
- Following all customer site procedures and health & safety requirements.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in field service, maintenance, PA testing, or a similar engineering role is desirable but training will be delivered
- Basic electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence using IT systems to record service activity.
- A full UK driving licence.
