Comprised of three leading fixed income electronic trading platforms, ICE Bonds allows clients to view and execute transactions in a broad array of fixed income products. We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed income professional to join ICE Bonds to support the continued expansion of our products.
Responsibilities
- Run daily, multi-faceted CDS solutions for bank participants and support post-auction admin.
- Analyze commercial, market, and individual client trends to optimize planning and organization of auction schedules to maximize revenue.
- Deepen existing and build new relationships to support current and future electronic trading solutions, acting as main point of contact for client issues and requests, providing market knowledge and feedback.
- Manage voice trading in CDS and bonds, including axe management.
- Engage with market with a business development mindset to keep on top of broader developments to shape and inform ICE products, collaborating with global teams to design and deliver process improvements, new functionality and new.
- Support new product launches including client communication and demos, internal processes and launch.
- Act as a backup for operations, for the US Bonds teams, or for the APAC CDS team where needed.
- Meet with clients outside of the office, including travelling to meetings and events.
- Manage the market-critical Credit Event Auctions from start to finish.
- Work with other ICE divisions (exchange, clearing and data) to leverage the overall offering and facilitate cross-selling into sell-side clients.
Knowledge And Experience
- Extensive experience within financial markets, fixed income trading, or Electronic Fixed Income Trading and strong knowledge of CDS and/or bond market.
- Strong understanding of sell-side client workflows, technology and electronic trading providers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate concisely and credibly both internally and externally.
- A team player, ready to pitch in at any time and quick to react to daily demands and challenges.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Willingness to help the broader business wherever needed or the opportunity presents itself, including cross-selling.
- Work well under pressure with a demanding client base and think on feet.
