Job Description

Job Purpose

Play a critical role in driving growth and innovation by coordinating the development and launch of new products and services across ICE Futures Europe and ICE Clear Europe, managing stakeholder relationships, and producing materials to support market engagement. This position demands a dynamic individual with strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills to ensure successful delivery of business objectives.

Responsibilities

Governance and Product Coordination

  1. Coordinate and manage relevant governance materials for the introduction of new products and services, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  2. Oversee the development of clearing services to support new products and other initiatives by working with relevant sponsors to produce detailed business cases, including complexity assessments and stakeholder implications.

Stakeholder and Clearing Member Relationship Management

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Clearing Members, stakeholders, and industry partners to support business development initiatives.
  2. Integrate Clearing Member and stakeholder feedback within the organisation to ensure services align with their requirements and priorities.
  3. Effectively manage Clearing Member and stakeholder expectations, providing clear communication and constructive guidance to support prioritization efforts.

Product Development and Communication

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of new products and clearing services ensuring timely delivery of services.
  2. Develop clear and engaging communication materials for the clearing service, including market-facing content, to promote new clearing services and products.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  1. Educated to at least Degree Level or equivalent.
  2. Extensive relevant product experience (listed derivatives and OTC).
  3. The job holder will ensure they remain current with all developments affecting the Exchange and Clearing service (European, US and International) including regulatory reform and will be a key opinion former with regard to positioning the clearing service within the market within the broader context of ICE’s clearing offerings.
  4. The job holder will work closely with colleagues on clearing development activities and will contribute to the production of work products.
  5. Strong analytical and project management skills are required to develop and improve clearing house processes.
  6. High-level of knowledge of relevant markets and/or clearing and settlement services (preferably both).
  7. The candidate must be multi-disciplined in their approach to managing business priorities.
  8. The candidate must be articulate with good interpersonal skills as they will be communicating processes (including written documents) and procedures to all levels throughout the business.

Preferred

  1. Additional qualifications (e.g. Masters or industry specific).
  2. Project Management Qualifications.
  3. Strong contact base within contemporaries at other CCPs.
  4. Participation in industry working groups.
  5. Background in ETD and OTC markets or clearing and settlement process.
