LOCATION: London / South East or North West / Manchester

SALARY: £60,000 – £65,000 Base Salary Uncapped OTE Top performers earning £200,000+

ABOUT THE BUSINESS: Our client is a highly respected Microsoft-focused Managed Services Provider, delivering transformative solutions across Cloud, Security, Data, AI, Applications and Managed Services. With a strong reputation for customer success and long-term client partnerships, they have built an impressive portfolio of active customers who already rely on their services every day.

Unlike many account management opportunities, this role comes with an established, engaged customer base. These are existing clients with live managed service agreements already in place, creating a genuine platform for growth rather than requiring you to build relationships from scratch.

THE ROLE:

As Senior Account Manager, you will inherit a portfolio of established accounts and become the strategic advisor to your clients. Your focus will be to strengthen relationships, uncover new opportunities, expand service adoption and generate referrals across the wider customer base.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing managed service customers
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Identify opportunities across Hybrid Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Data, AI and Application Services
  • Drive growth through consultative account planning and customer engagement
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning discussions
  • Work closely with technical and pre-sales teams to deliver customer outcomes
  • Generate additional revenue through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM reporting

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT: Many Account Manager positions are effectively disguised new business roles. This isn't one of them. The clients are already engaged, already contracted and already receiving managed services from the business. You'll be entering relationships with credibility from day one, allowing you to focus on strategic growth rather than opening doors.

THE SOLUTIONS PORTFOLIO: You'll have access to a comprehensive technology portfolio including:

  • Managed Services
  • Hybrid Infrastructure
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Cyber Security
  • Data & Analytics
  • Power BI
  • Power Apps
  • Full Stack Development
  • Artificial Intelligence Solutions

THE ENVIRONMENT: This is a genuinely hybrid role. You'll spend approximately two days per week in the office, with the remainder focused on client engagement and relationship building. Face-to-face meetings, QBRs, thought leadership and becoming embedded within your customers' businesses are all central to the company's approach. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted partnerships and being visible within their client base.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a Microsoft Partner, MSP or technology services environment
  • Proven track record of account growth and customer retention
  • Experience selling managed services and understanding the dynamics of inherited contract bases
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions
  • Exposure to Data, Power BI and/or Power Apps solutions
  • Enterprise-level account management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially minded, consultative and customer-focused approach
  • Strong communication, presentation and strategic planning capabilities

THE PACKAGE:

Why You'll Love It Here:

  • £60,000 – £65,000 basic salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Top earners exceeding £200,000
  • Existing client portfolio from day one
  • Hybrid working model
  • Access to a broad and highly marketable technology portfolio
  • Clear career progression opportunities
  • Supportive and collaborative culture
  • Opportunity to work with some of the most innovative Microsoft-led solutions in the market

INTERESTED? If you've spent years building accounts from scratch and are ready to inherit a genuine platform for growth, we'd love to speak with you. Please contact your recruiter for a confidential discussion and further information.
