Our client is a small but busy practice based in Wakefield.
They are thriving and their workload is growing.
To boost their civils team, they are seeking a civil engineer and will consider any level, including graduates, up to +5.
You will join a cohesive team who still work from the office, but you will benefit from every Friday afternoon off.
Their project workload is varied, many of which are for household name clients.
Schemes can range from basic roads and drainage design for small residential schemes, to charging stations and battery energy storage systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in civil engineering design on residential and commercial schemes, including roads and drainage design, charging stations and battery energy storage systems.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects from concept to detailed design.
- Support senior engineers with calculations, drawings and documentation.
- Contribute to sustainable design solutions in line with project requirements.
About you / Qualifications
- Degree in civil or structural engineering with an interest in civil engineering
- Passion for sustainable solutions
- Experience or interest in roads and drainage design
- Driven with a desire to progress your career
- Knowledge of Causeway Flow and Su DS would be an advantage
