Structural Technician
Derby
£33k-£36k plus benefits
We are working with an award-winning structural engineering consultancy who have an immediate requirement for a structural technician in their Derby office.
You will need to be proficient in AutoCAD and if you have working knowledge of Revit, this would be an advantage.
Project workload is varied and includes commercial, education, health and industrial sectors, as well as residential and can range in value over £20m.
The successful candidate will be involved in producing high-quality structural drawings and details using AutoCAD, often to BIM Level 2 standards, and will work with a variety of materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry. There is also scope to collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians across the business in different specialisms.
This opportunity would suit someone with at least 3 years\’ experience in a structural technician role, a relevant OND or higher qualification, and strong technical and problem-solving skills.
