We are currently recruiting on behalf of an engineering consultancy in Glasgow, seeking a skilled Structural Technician for a 4-month contract.
On Offer for the Structural Technician (Contract)
- Location: Glasgow, Scotland
- Contract Duration: 4 months (with potential for extension)
- Hourly Rate: £30 per hour (DOE)
Software Proficiency: AutoCAD and CADS RC
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed structural drawings for various materials, including steel, reinforced concrete and timber, using AutoCAD and CADS RC.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Maintain accurate and organised records of all drawings and revisions.
- Conduct thorough checks to ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and CADS RC.
- Proven experience in structural detailing within a consultancy or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
- HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience.
