Our client is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their highly regarded Heritage & Conservation team, based in their London office.
This opportunity arises due to the continued growth of their project portfolio across London and the wider UK.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of six years of UK experience, with a solid theoretical and practical grounding in all structural materials.
They should have a strong track record in the heritage sector, particularly in refurbishment, conservation, and adaptive re-use across both existing and new-build projects.
Chartered status (or close to achieving it) with the IStruct E or MICE is essential, and a desire to work toward CARE accreditation is highly beneficial-although not mandatory.
To support this professional development, you will be offered a comprehensive training programme designed to assist team members in achieving both chartership and CARE accreditation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team by carrying out structural design calculations, contributing to the preparation and delivery of design packages, attending design team meetings and site visits, and producing reports.
These responsibilities will be carried out under the guidance of a Line Manager and Team Director.
As the candidate grows within the practice, they will also have the opportunity to lead and manage their own projects, with continued support.

The role offers exposure to a diverse range of small, medium, and large-scale heritage projects of national and international importance.
