About the opportunity
Due to successful company expansion and a healthy order book, my client is recruiting for a Site Manager with heavy civil engineering experience (Lift shafts, concrete bases, drainage, etc.) to work within their rail infrastructure division. Initial projects will be in London and the surrounding areas. You will be commercially aware and have the ability to take the lead on site, ensuring all aspects of your projects are delivered efficiently with an excellent record in quality, health, safety and environment. In addition, you will be expected to plan and programme your work, prepare method statements, and manage your site team.
About the benefits and rewards
You will be rewarded with a competitive day rate ranging from £380.00 – £450.00 per day (specific rate will depend on previous experience and suitability). My client is happy to pay you as a LTD company or through an umbrella company.
About the requirements
- You will need to have a PTS
- You will need to have an SMSTS
- A degree in either Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- A stable career working within a rail environment for either Main Contractors or Tier 2 contractors in the UK
- Good longevity in the workplace (holding each previous appointment for at least 2 years)
