Senior Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks

Our client is a civil engineering and groundwork company based in Bedfordshire. The company provides a wide range of construction services, including groundworks, drainage and foundations. The company has a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals who are committed to providing quality work to its clients. The company has a strong track record of success and has completed a variety of projects, both large and small.

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Bedfordshire. This role will involve the usual commercial management duties of Civil and Infrastructure packages and associated groundworks. The successful professional will report to the company’s commercial director and will be responsible for either a group of 5 projects or 2 large projects circa £20m.

About the requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Previous experience in this type of role whilst working for a Civil or Groundwork subcontractor.

About the Benefits and Rewards

  • Salary range of £80,000 to £90,000 per annum.
  • Packages includes:
    • Travel allowance OR company vehicle (BMW or Electric Car)
    • Bonus scheme – no less than 5%
    • Pension – 8% contribution
