Our client is on the lookout for a driven Civil Engineering Technician to join a fast-moving and ambitious civils team, based in Newark. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with the added benefit of a flexible home and office working arrangement.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering designs across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure schemes. Working from concept through to construction and operation, the role involves close collaboration with clients, Local Authorities and external stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly.
Day‑to‑day work will see the technician embedded within a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with in‑house architectural and structural specialists as well as external consultants and contractors.
Our client is seeking someone with at least 2 years of UK experience and a solid grounding in highway and drainage design for both residential and commercial developments. Ideally, candidates will be EngTech qualified or working towards professional membership with the ICE. Strong communication skills, energy, and the ability to juggle multiple projects to tight deadlines are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroStation, Site 3D and MicroDrainage will put candidates firmly at the front of the queue.
