Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Structural Engineer looking to take control of their engineering firm. This is a crucial role which will realise the firm's ambitious revenue growth target and, if met, will contribute to a very generous bonus scheme.
You will join a long-established engineering consultancy who specialise in domestic and small commercial projects. The firm is supported by a network of contractor engineers who are spread throughout London and the South-East of England, allowing exceptional service to their clients.
The role has come about as a result of a retirement and it is vital they find someone who has a strong business and commercial acumen, to carry forward their increased customer demand and anticipated annual turnover. A very exciting time in this company's history and a chance to forge their future!
The focus of your role will be to execute the growth plan whilst supporting the operational running of the firm, assisted by two other Directors. You will have the capability to take the existing growth plan, adapt and contribute to recent success with your own ideas and momentum.
Business development and technical ability come naturally to you, and you will conduct routine check-ins with the contract engineers. You will be offered the opportunity to work remotely for most of the time.
