Its Water Group collaborates with architects, planners, and environmental specialists to deliver multidisciplinary solutions in water resource management, river engineering, flood risk, and coastal design.
As a Senior or Associate Coastal Engineer, you will take responsibility for the technical delivery and project leadership of coastal and maritime schemes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and key clients.
Typical Areas Of Work Include:- Coastal flood protection and resilience design.
- Coastal structures such as breakwaters, revetments, quay walls, and groynes.
- Beach nourishment and shoreline management planning.
- Marinas, navigation channels, and canals.
- Coastal modelling, both inâhouse and via specialist subâconsultants.
- Leading and delivering coastal engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Providing design input, technical oversight, and quality assurance.
- Managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Supporting project bids, proposals, and business development activities.
- Sharing technical knowledge and contributing to capability growth across the Water Group.
- Managing and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and collaborators.
You will be a technically skilled, proactive engineer with experience delivering coastal and maritime projects in consultancy or a related environment.
Requirements:- Degree in Civil, Coastal, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Strong track record delivering projects across at least three of the following:
- Coastal flood protection
- Coastal structures
- Beach nourishment and shoreline management
- Marinas and navigation works
- Coastal and hydrodynamic modelling
