A talented geotechnical engineer is required to join a successful employee owned consultancy with an international workload. Our client has earned a reputation for their involvement in complex heavy civil engineering and high value building projects.
Their industry leading expertise has been applied to landmark buildings, industrial and transportation projects throughout Europe, the Middle East and South-East Asia. Working in their London office will enable you to work on significant new building structures in the capital, with a focus on high rise schemes with basement levels requiring complex geotechnical and temporary works input.
Your Role
Reporting to the principal engineer you will prepare geotechnical designs, carry out site investigations and prepare reports, typically for retaining structures, earthworks and deep excavations. There will be close contact with client representatives and interaction with colleagues in the UK and internationally.
Profile Required
You should be a degree qualified geotechnical engineer with a consulting engineering background, and a minimum of four years' work experience. Ideally a graduate member of the ICE and motivated to become chartered. Experience of using industry standard such as Plaxis and Oasys. A lateral thinker with good communication skills.
