We are working with a busy engineering practice in Leeds who are seeking a senior drainage engineer to enhance their civils team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual who wants to be more than just a "number cruncher," as you will play a key role in shaping projects and leading a team.
The role will see you collaborating closely with the structures team on post-planning and construction stage project delivery. You will also be involved in fee proposals and will assist with commercial management of projects.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of planning-stage drainage work, including SuDS Strategies and FRAs, providing early stage strategic advice.
- Manage and contribute to detailed drainage work and be a liaison with Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the structures team on post-planning and construction stage project delivery.
- Be involved in fee proposals and assist with commercial management of projects.
- Be autonomous and apply critical thinking; take on responsibility, with opportunity for long-term progression.
- Technically strong drainage engineer with experience in planning-stage drainage, SuDS, and FRAs.
- Leeds-based experienced drainage engineer who is ambitious and keen to develop beyond purely technical delivery; able to work autonomously and apply critical thinking.
