Constructex Ltd is a leading specialist contractor in maritime civil engineering. Based in Fareham, Hampshire, we deliver a wide range of projects across the UK and abroad, including inspection, design, repair, construction, and maintenance of marine infrastructure.
The role of Project Manager will suit an experienced Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering or a closely-related speciality. This role may also suit a Design Engineer looking to transition into a contractor environment. Constructex adopts an engineer-led approach to delivering technically complex and challenging marine and civil engineering projects, where sound engineering judgement remains central throughout the project lifecycle.
As such, candidates with a strong civil engineering or design background will continue to develop their technical expertise while gaining valuable exposure to the practical aspects of delivery. This includes responsibility for programme management, procurement, commercial performance, and site-based decision-making. The role offers a well-rounded progression path, enabling engineers to broaden their skillset and take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

Role Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from contract award through to completion and final account. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, liaise with site teams, and ensure that projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and technical requirements. At any given time, you will be responsible for multiple projects at varying stages of activity and completion. This is a fully in-person role, primarily based in our offices in Fareham, but with travel to site locations where necessary.

- Develop and execute project management plans and delivery strategies
- Lead project teams, including Site Managers and Engineers
- Allocate work packages and manage resources effectively
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records reflecting site progress
