Our client, a forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced structural engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an engineer with a solid foundation in UK-based structural design, confidence in leading projects and managing junior engineers. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to project delivery and work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Can you lead and manage projects, carry out detailed structural calculations, and attend site and client visits liaising at all levels?
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years' UK-based consultancy experience
- Either approaching Chartership or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE)
- Strong technical design skills across a range of building materials
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Comfortable managing junior staff and leading project delivery
This role offers a competitive salary and a fixed monthly bonus scheme based on a percentage of sales, half-day Fridays and the option to work from home every Thursday and Friday. The team also benefits from annual and Christmas bonuses.
