They specialise in groundwork, civil engineering, RC frames, architectural concrete, rail, and aviation. As a long-established, family-run business, they pride themselves on their loyal client base with repeat business time and again. They have a strong coverage of projects around the UK with package values ranging from £5 million to £30 million covering the rail, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in civil engineering, with progressive experience in positions such as Civil Engineer, Project Manager, or Contracts Manager. The role requires a technically proficient individual with a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering practices, specifically in Groundworks and Utilities, as well as in the delivery of FRC (Formwork, Reinforcement, and Concrete) structures, including but not limited to bridges, substations, and concrete frames. Prior experience in the data centre sector would be considered advantageous.
The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders. A high level of commercial awareness is essential, along with proven experience working under NEC and JCT forms of contract. A proactive, hands-on approach to project delivery is expected.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering RC Frame and Groundwork packages from £5m - £15m
- Engineering background – Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working with Data Centres – Advantageous
