We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic office based in Chorley. This role will suit candidates who have a strong background (minimum three years) in structural design within the UK market, particularly across residential and commercial buildings.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of three years' UK experience in structural design encompassing steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry construction under Eurocodes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software.
- Experience producing detailed structural calculations and sketches.
- Capability in preparing construction drawings and specifications.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of costing, budgets and quotations.
- Demonstrated report writing ability.
- Willingness to conduct site visits to verify construction runs in compliance with drawings.
Desirable Attributes
- Familiarity with STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit software.
- Project management and leadership skills.
- Aiming toward or already nearing Chartered Engineer status.
