Our client is looking for a skilled CAD Technician to join a well-established and growing engineering consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects across bridges, civil, structural, and geotechnical disciplines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models, working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are delivered in line with project requirements and industry standards. The role will involve updating and revising drawings, maintaining project documentation, supporting project delivery, and ensuring work is completed to agreed timescales and budgets.

Applicants should hold a diploma or certification in CAD Design, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with evidence of continued professional development viewed favourably. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Revit is essential, along with a good understanding of civil engineering design principles and excellent attention to detail.

Candidates will typically have 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Technician within a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment. Knowledge of BIM standards, ISO 19650 workflows, and experience using platforms such as BIM 360 or ProjectWise would be advantageous.
