Our client is an established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong national presence and an excellent reputation for delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions. Following a series of recent project wins, their thriving Bristol office is looking to appoint a talented Structural Engineer and will consider candidates from intermediate level through to Senior Structural Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-respected team working on a varied portfolio of projects across the residential, retail and commercial sectors, along with a range of other exciting developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering structural design solutions from concept through to completion while contributing to the continued success of the Bristol office.
Applicants should hold a degree in Structural Engineering and have gained solid experience within a UK consultancy. Candidates working towards Chartership or already Chartered are encouraged to apply, although the level of responsibility will be tailored to experience. A sound understanding of Eurocodes, structural analysis and design software is essential, together with experience designing traditional building structures in a range of materials.
The role will involve:
- Carrying out structural analysis and design using Tekla and Fastrak
- Undertaking assessments and inspections of new and existing structures
- Producing high-quality technical reports and structural surveys
- Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical standards
