Our client is expanding their Water and Environmental team and seeks a talented engineer with flood risk and drainage experience to play a key role in the growth of a highly regarded consultancy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver Flood Risk Assessments, hydraulic modelling studies, and sustainable drainage solutions across a variety of sectors.
  • Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality technical reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, clients, regulators and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong consultancy background in flood risk and drainage engineering.
  • Experience with software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and, ideally, InfoWorks ICM.
  • Solid understanding of UK flood risk policy and experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Proven ability to produce clear, high-quality technical reports.
  • Chartered status, or a desire to pursue it, is highly advantageous.
