We are excited to advertise an opportunity for an Assistant Development Engineer working in the Transport, Engineering and Highways section. This is an exciting time to join the service at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, as we are currently expanding the team to strengthen our technical capacity to deliver the highways requirements created by land use development.

The postholder will assist in developing agreements with developers including carrying out assessments, audits and dialogue with stakeholders to arrive at satisfactory solutions that bring benefit to the Borough’s transport network. The postholder will support the Development Engineer in positively contributing to the achievement of the Council, its core values and strategies.
