A hands-on, all-round operations role supporting the Operations Manager, centred on hardware build and test, with responsibility for keeping the lab running and supporting both the engineering team and production. This role suits someone practical and organised who is equally comfortable at a bench with a soldering iron as they are testing product in a production environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Soldering and assembling PCBs, bringing up new boards, and testing product
- Keeping the lab fully stocked and workstations ready to go
- Helping with component purchasing, supplier liaison, and kitting builds
- Occasional simple CAD tasks under guidance from our engineers
What we're looking for:
- Solid soldering experience (through-hole and SMD down to 0402 component level )
- Comfortable with hand tools and basic test equipment
- Organised, proactive, good communicator
- Bonus: purchasing/procurement experience, IPC standards knowledge, or basic Altium exposure
