Does being a supportive leader and helping individuals achieve healthier lifestyles excite you? Are you passionate about guiding a team that makes a positive difference in people's lives, particularly children, young people, families, and adults? Do you thrive in delivering tailored, person-centred weight management services and leading by example to tackle health inequalities?

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Weight Management Coach specialising in Children, Young People (CYP), Families, and Adults to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. This role is pivotal in delivering a community-based, holistic weight management service designed to tackle obesity and support healthier lifestyles across Liverpool's neighbourhoods.

As a senior member of the team, you will not only deliver direct support to clients but also provide line management to a team of Weight Management Coaches. You will be responsible for overseeing their performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and empowering a collaborative team environment. In addition to direct coaching and client engagement, you will lead the development of your team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to enhance their skills and ensure that service standards are consistently met.

In your role as a specialist in both CYP/families and adults, you will design and deliver tailored weight management interventions, which include nutritional guidance, physical activity, and emotional wellbeing support. By working closely with healthcare providers, community organisations, and schools, you will drive a whole-systems approach to weight management. You will also ensure continuous service improvement through data-driven insights and client feedback.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional who wants to make a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of local communities while leading and developing a team of Weight Management Coaches. You will have the ability to support clients in community settings and virtually via phone/video calls. You will also support clients in one-to-one and group sessions. You will also manage your own caseload and support your team to manage theirs effectively.

This role will need to have the ability to travel independently within the Liverpool area and so you will need to be able to drive and own a car as the role involves work in various community settings. You will also be required to travel to the Wirral office from time to time for training and team meetings.
