About Us: St Catherine’s Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, district nursing, etc.) across West Sussex and East Surrey. We provide care in communities across Surrey and Sussex which are richly diverse and we want to reflect that in everything we do. The Role: This post is offered on a permanent, full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8/8.30am – 4/4.30pm. The successful candidate must be an essential car user, therefore must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
About You: Are you an experienced Senior Physiotherapist passionate about holistic end‑of‑life care? Do you find it rewarding to provide specialist physiotherapy interventions across hospice services? This role works across our hospice services, including the Inpatient Unit, community settings and the Wellbeing Centre, supporting patients to maintain comfort, function and quality of life. We are seeking a confident communicator and leader to work with the team ensuring care is delivered safely, compassionately and to a consistently high standard.
- High standards of holistic and individualised patient care, embracing the hospice's vision and values.
- Assess, plan and implement a wide range of interventions.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate physiotherapy‑led exercise and education groups within the Wellbeing Centre.
- Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of interventions.
